Due to local regulatory requirements, access to NIN (National Identification Number) and BVN (Bank Verification Number) verification services is restricted until specific account onboarding steps are completed.
Follow this guide to understand the verification requirements and how to test the service in the meantime.
Unlocking NIN and BVN Verification
To access NIN and BVN verification options in both your Sandbox and Production environments, you must complete two prerequisites:
Complete your KYC verification: Submit all required business or personal compliance documentation in your account settings. Please see the service form attached for KYC completion.
Fund your wallet: Ensure your account wallet has a positive balance in both the sandbox and production environments.
Once these two steps are fulfilled, access to the NIN and BVN verification ID types will be automatically enabled for your account.
